B.Ed is the bachelor’s degree undertaken to take up teaching as a profession in schools. To pursue this course one needs to have completed his/her graduation. According to the new norms of NCTE 2014, the B.Ed. program will be of two years which includes a total of four semesters. This is a full time regular course. In which the trainee is required to attend the college as per the rules. A Bachelor of Education is an undergraduate professional degree which prepares students for work as a teacher in schools.

Program Outcomes

B.Ed is a professional course and right after completing this course, students can get a job at school level. However, it may be noted those who wish to be become school teachers of senior secondary classes need to have a post-graduation degree before pursuing B.Ed.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have passed graduation degree of the pattern 10+2+3 from any U.G.C recognized university/post graduate degree with minimum 50% of total mark decided by NCTE. & SC, ST, SEBC Students 45% total mark are eligible for the admission in B.Ed. Course.
