Pharmacist is a medical specialist that deals with the study of all aspects of treatment of all kinds of illnesses. The students are qualified to submit an application for registration as a pharmacist after completing the study programme. They are knowledgeable about the fundamental concepts related to the field of pharmacy, such as manufacturing procedures, biological sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, behavioural, social, and administrative pharmacy sciences. The pharmacist helps in reestablishing the patient's regular way of life by helping them in curing of diseases. In accordance with the ongoing demand for the expansion of the pharmacy profession, they can contribute as hospital pharmacists, clinical pharmacists, and retail/wholesale pharmacists. They acquire the identity of a pharmacist in order to understand, assess, and communicate the significance of their professional tasks in society (e.g. health care professionals, suppliers of pharmaceuticals, manufacturers, promoters of health, educators, business managers, employers and marketing representatives)
