Diploma in Automobile Engineering is a three year course spanning over six semesters. The course aims to train the student for a deeper understanding of the automobiles at various stages such as designing, manufacturing, customer relationships and market analysis. It also takes a comprehensive view of sales and management.  The course offers technological education in areas such as automobile design, vehicle engineering, electrical and electronic systems used in vehicles, braking, material science, engines, fuels and lubricants. It is a branch of engineering that combines elements of mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering in design, manufacture and service of automobiles, buses, and trucks as well as their subsystems.
