Bachelor of law
The 3-year Bachelor of Law is a postgraduate programme offered by various law institutes and universities in the country. The programme targets various fields of law including labour law, criminal law, contractual law, family law, legal writing and many others. In order to apply for this programme, candidates have to complete their graduation. The 3-year LLB programme is mandatory for those who want to practice law and also for the candidates who want to pursue LL.M or Master of Law programmes. The course offers a broad understanding of constitutional law and its different sections enable law aspirants in understanding the various case studies in the legal history of India. Classroom learning and internships are a part of the programme to impart elaborate education.
Program Outcome
Students will possess knowledge and understanding of substantive and procedural law;
Students will possess the ability to perform:
a) legal analysis and reasoning
b) legal research
c) problem solving
d) written communication in the legal context
e) oral communication in the legal context
Students will understand the exercise of proper professional and ethical responsibilities to clients and the legal system; and
Students will demonstrate the professional skills of collaboration, counseling and negotiation needed for competent and ethical participation as a member of the legal profession. All students will also demonstrate a basic understanding of business fundamentals and be able to read and understand basic financial documents.

MOOT COURT :
Moot court is one of the most important simulation activities of student’s life cycle. It nurture their research, analytical, drafting, argumentative skills and helps them to have experiential learning. Moot Court Hall by replicating the real Court Room Class Room set up with a seating capacity of 240 to host national and International moot court competitions.
Legal Aid Clinic :
Due to its social orientation, the Faculty of Law is has a designated legal clinic which serves a social; course by taking up legal cases pro bono for the development of the underprivileged classe.
